Exciting, engaging, and enthusiastic are three words that describe another successful Fashion PR Confidential this past weekend. Our attendees enjoyed delicious food, cultivated new friendships, and consumed so much insight about the Fashion PR industry. From learning to write pitches, to listening to industry leading professionals, our attendees were able to leave Fashion PR Con with confidence to jumpstart their career.
Fashion PR Con was held at Brooklyn Brigade, the cutest little space that had an Instagram worthy shot at every turn. Our adorable attendees made sure to take full advantage of the creative space and had many photo ops throughout the weekend.
When our attendees walked through the door, they were greeted with the most beautiful bouquets from Bloom That. They helped give creative inspiration for the strategy sessions and acted as the perfect background for Instagram posts.
Every PR girl deserves to dine in style and Susty Party made sure to tend to those needs. From the plates to the most perfect straws, our attendees were provided with first class tableware throughout the weekend. Each attendee was also lucky enough to go home with the most perfect Susty Party straws, yay!
Our attendees not only got a certificate for graduating the Fashion PR Con workshop, but also went home with goodie bags filled with PR girl must haves! Mullein & Sparrow provided bath salts that any PR girl needs to relax after a long day of work. Titan Tea gave each attendee a refreshing organic tea that is a must have for a stressful workday. Erin Condren Design provided the most perfect notepads for our attendees to document every moment of the workshop. Tribe Tats were a huge hit this past weekend and will for sure be worn by every attendee this fall. The Dress Movement gave each attendee 20% off a new outfit and we all know a PR girl can never have too many clothes.
We got to hear from the lovely Alyssa Coscarelli, fashion market writer for Refinery 29. She spoke about the importance of forming successful relationships between publicists and editors and gave a few tips on how to create those relationships.
Cannon Hodge, who launched Bergdorf Goodman’s social media spoke to our attendees about how to strategically and successful manage social media for a company. She also spoke about what it’s like to have an Insta famous dog, @livefredtastic and talked about the adventures they have been on because of his account. Fred was a huge hit and has all our attendees swooning over him.
Sarah Pierson and Alex Buckley, founders of Margaux NY, shared 10 PR tips they learned while launching their successful company fresh out of college. Can you say #GirlBosses?!
